论述了一种基于快速原型制造原理的金属板料无模成形技术。该技术引入快速原型制造“分层制造”的思想 ,用计算机控制一个工具头逐层对板料施行渐进塑性加工 ,使其逐步成形为所需的形状。该技术与快速制模技术相结合 ,可制造能生产上千件金属薄板成形件的模具。

The paper introduced the sheet metal digital control dieless forming technology based on the Rapid Prototyping principle. It introduce the theory of 'Layered Manufacturing' of Rapid Prototyping technology, use computer to control a tooling to make sheet metal plastic form layer by layer, make it incremental form into needs 3D shape. Combining that technology with Rapid Tooling, it can make the die which enable produce thousands sheet metal parts.
