母猪喂服中药“白痢散”对仔猪白痢病的防治试验

Effects of feeding Chinese traditional herbal medicines "Bailisan" to lactating sows on prevention and treatment of white scour of piglets

根据中兽医辩证施治理论 ,选择了几种中草药 ,配制成专门防治仔猪白痢的制剂 ,名为“白痢散”.(1 )预防试验在 2 4头哺乳母猪 (共带仔 2 1 0只 )中进行 ,随机分成 3组 ,1组作为对照 (CK) ,其余 2组为处理组 .2个处理组的母猪从产后 3 -4d开始 ,每头每天分别饲喂 1 0 0和 1 5 0 g“白痢散”1次 ,连续 3 d,之后每隔 7d再喂 1次 ,直到断奶 .(2 )治疗试验在另外 2 2头哺乳母猪 (共带仔 2 3 1只 )中进行 ,分成处理组和对照组 ,处理组每头母猪每天喂 2 0 0 g“白痢散”1次 ,连续 3 d.试验结果表明 :(1 )“白痢散”在平板对分离的致病性大肠杆菌的平均抑菌圈直径为 1 2 .5 mm;(2 )预防试验中 ,2处理组分别获得90 .0 %和 81 .3 %的保护率 ,效果显著 (P<0 .0 1 ) ,与 CK相比 ,处理组白痢发病率分别下降 42 .8%和 3 4.1 % ,平均断奶窝重分别增加 6.88和 4.80 kg,而窝收益分别增加 78.2 0和 48.3 0元 ;(3 )在治疗试验中 ,治愈率和总有效率分别提高到 90 .5 9%和97.65 % .由此可见 ,通过母猪的饲料给药 ,“白痢散”对致病性大肠杆菌具有一定的抑制效果 ,可作为防治仔猪白痢的一种理想药物 ;使用“白痢散”

According to the theory of Chinese traditional veterinary medicine on the diagnosis and treatment based on an overall analysis of the illness and the patient's condition, several herbal medicines were selected and formulated as a special remedy for piglets' white scour, namely 'Bailisan' (pulverized preparation for white scour). Prophylactic trial was carried out in 24 nursing sows with a total of 210 piglets, who were randomly divided into three groups, one of which used for control, and the rest for treatments; 'Bailisan' was given at the dose of 100 grams and 150 grams per day to each sow of two treatment groups respecively in 3-4 days after farrowing for 3 successive days and then once again every 7 days interval until weaning. Therapeutic trial was conducted in another 22 nursing sows with a total of 231 piglets who were divided into 2 groups (treatment and control); 'Bailisan' was given at the dose of 200 grams per day to each sow of treatment group for 3 successive days. The results showed as follows: (1) The bacteriostatic ring produced by 'Bailisan' against isolated pathogenic E. coli on plate was 12.5 mm in diameter on the average. (2) In prophylactic trial, 90% and 81.3% protection rates were obtained, and the efficiencies were significant ( P <0.01). (3) The incidence of white scour in two treatment groups of prophylactic trial decreased by 42.8% and 34.1% , the average litter weights increased by 6.88 and 4.80 kg, and the average incomes from each treated litter increased by 78.20 and 48.30 yuan respectively, as compared to the control. (4) In therapeutic trial, the healing rate and the overall efficiency were raised to 90.59% and 97.65% respectively. It is concluded that the 'Bailisan' has a certain degree of bacteriostatic effects on pathogenic E.coli , so it can be used as an ideal remedy for white scour of piglets via sow's feed. In the respect of economic consideration, using 'Bailisan' also demonstrates a significant benefit to the pig farm.
