9例椎体骨巨细胞瘤的诊治体会

Diagnosis and Treatment of Vertebral Giant Cell Tumors in 9 Cases

目的 :了解椎体骨巨细胞瘤的诊断和治疗方法。方法 :回顾分析 1988～ 1998年间经病理证实的椎体骨巨细胞瘤病例共 9例。采用广泛手术切除 ,局部灭活和辅以放疗等治疗措施。结果 :绝大多数病人 ( 8/ 9)术后症状明显消失。术后随访 2～ 8年 ,平均 3 .5年 ,未见复发和转移。结论 :椎体骨巨细胞瘤诊断困难 。

Objective:To evaluate the diagnosis and treatment of vertebral giant cell tumors.Methods:From 1988 to 1998,we had treated operatively 9 cases of vertebral giant cell tumors,with wide excision,local inactiveness and radiotherapy.Results:Most of the patients(8/9)restored their living ability.All of the patients were followed up for a mean of 3.5 years(range from 2 to 8 years) after operation,no recurrence and metastasis was found.Conclusion:The diagnosis of vertebral giant cell tumor is difficult,the key point of the treatment is wide excision.
