Pressure therapy for treatment of hypertrophic burn scar

压力疗法防治烧伤后瘢痕简便易行、确实有效。压力疗法应早期应用,要有足够的、适当的压力,并持续加压3～6个月。近年来支架和矫形器受到越来越多的重视,使压力疗法也可以应用于传统不宜加压的部位。本文从压力疗法的实施方法、作用机制、治疗原则及注意事项等几个方面做一综述。

The key mechanism of pressure therapy(PT) on hypertrophic scar(HS) control is that it can reduce the blood supply and cause hypoxia, and hypoxia then results in a series changes. There are mainly three principles in PT application: (1)as early as possible;(2)proper and strong enough pressure;(3)lasting and continuing application. Proper use of pressure can prevent HS recurrence and then obviate the need for repetitive surgery. Of course the use of pressure is only one segment of the total rehabilitation of the thermally injured patient. Its use in conjunction with exercise, splinting, positioning, and reconstructive surgery allows an optimal level of function and cosmesis to be achieved.The article review the method,mechanism,principle and points for attention of pressure therapy.
