草业是新兴的技术密集型产业。随着我国农业进入结构调整新阶段 ,草业的地位和作用愈加重要 ,正在由传统分散的附着型草业向主导型现代草业转型。科技支撑不足和资源管理利用不合理是制约草业转型的关键因素。加强草业关键技术的攻关研究、以生物技术和信息技术为主导的创新研究以及产学研结合的开发研究 ,是草业科技发展的战略重点。增加投入。

Grassland industry is a new developing technology intensive industry. As agriculture in China is undergoing a new round of structure adjustment, the grassland industry may play an important role in the country's economy and gradually transform from traditionally scattered and attached model to dominant modern model. The major constrains to grassland industry are insufficient scientific support and irrational mobilization and utilization of resources. The key strategy for developing grassland science and technology should be oriented to strengthen research on key techniques, application of bio technology and information technology in grassland industry, meanwhile, the industry development should be enhanced with multidisciplinary efforts for production, training and research. It is a very important strategy to increase investment, modify mechanisms and strengthen capacity buliding for developing grassland industry and the relevant science and technologies.
