Comparison between English Euphemism and Chinese Euphemism

本文从跨文化交际的角度出发 ,对英、汉语中委婉方法进行比较。指出 :社会习俗、文化背景、宗教信仰等引起英、汉委婉语在语言形式和思维模式方面的差异 。

In order to make intercultural communication more successful, we must make sure of the differences between English euphemism and Chinese euphemism, and then use agreeable or inoffensive words instead of offensive words.
