摘要
本文从认知心理学、社会语言学、教育学角度 ,着重探讨认知法和交际法在大学英语教学中的可行性和互补性。
From the aspect of psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and educational psychology, this paper analyses the strengths and weaknesses of Cognitive approach and Communicative approach. Then it discusses the complementary principles as well as feasibilities of these two approaches in college English teaching. Finally, it points out that the application of these two approaches to different subjects in varied learning stages has a great impact on the development of learners' language ability.
