含有免疫激活序列的DNA或寡聚核苷酸对脊椎动物的免疫系统可以产生广泛的激活作用。本文综述DNA免疫激活作用的结构基础。

Certain DNA or oligodeoxynucleotides (ODN) containing unmethylated CpG dinucleotides within specific sequence context, termed as Immunostimulatory Sequence(ISS) or CpG-motifs,have recently been shown to exert a wide range of stimulatory effects on vertebrate immune system. This paper review current understanding on the DNA structural basis, cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the action of ISS-DNA.
