摘要
近年来 ,为了提高激光器的输出功率 ,减少体积 ,增强工作稳定性 ,国际上发展了一种以双包层光纤为工作介质的激光器。这种双包层光纤激光器采用包层泵浦原理 ,使注入内包层的泵浦光在内包层中传播 ,反复穿越纤芯被纤芯掺杂介质吸收 ,从而使纤芯中传播的光的比例增加 ,大大提高了输出功率。如此优越的性能使双包层光纤激光器在激光器领域中占有重要的地位。在比较了激光器的常用类型后 ,阐述了双包层光纤激光器的结构及工作原理 ,并对其国内、外的发展现状及应用前景作了介绍。
Recently, to improve output power, reduce volume and enhance work stability, a double clad fiber laser is developed in the world. It adopts the principle of the absorbed pump for the double clad fiber. The pump light injected into the inner cladding and transmitted in it, the coupled pump light is well absorbed in the doped core and thus efficiently utilized, and proportion of light is enhanced in the core and output power is improved. Such unique advantages have made double clad fiber laser important in the laser field. In this paper, the common types of lasers are compared, the architecture and key principle of double clad fiber laser are described, and the development and applications of double clad fiber laser in the home and foreign countries are also introduced.
