Sodium bisulfate can be used as catalyst for the esterification of propionic acid and various alcohols.Sodium bisulfate monohydrate as its catalyst is discussed.The reusability the catalyst is studied.It shows that sodium bisulfate is active, with milk reaction,no corrosion and no waste acid.The esterification is advantageous.
