A numerical simulation of nonisothermal effects during the filling stage of injection molding is investigated. The Non\|Newtonian fluid flows are simulated within the thin cavities of arbitrary shape. The model is based on the generalized Hele\|Shaw flows of Non\|Newton fluid under the nonisothernal condition. The temperature and pressure distribution in the flow field is calculated using a hybrid FEM/FDM numerical method.
