pS2 protein expression in breast cancer and its significance

目的 研究pS2在乳腺浸润性导管癌中的表达与ER、PR及临床指标的关系。方法 应用免疫组化SP法检测 2 40例乳腺癌患者中 pS2的表达。 结果 pS2与雌孕激素受体呈明显的正相关关系 (P <0 0 5 ) ,与乳腺癌分化程度正相关 ,pS2与淋巴结转移情况呈负相关 (P <0 0 5 ) ,与患者年龄、肿瘤大小无明显关系 (P >0 0 5 )。结论 pS2的表达可以作为乳腺癌预后及术后预测抗雌激素治疗效果的重要指标。

Objective To study the expression of pS2 protein in breast cancer and its relation to ER and PR. Methods Using SP immunohistochemical techhnique, expression of pS2 was studied in 240 patients with breast cancer. Results pS2 expression was positively related to ER and PR (P<0.05),also positively related to the degree of differentiation of breast cancer cells, and negatively related to lymphnode matastasis. The expression of pS2 in breast carcinoma was not related with patient age and tumor size. Conclusion pS2 appears to be a biological marker for predicting prognosis and comprehensive treatment of breast cancer.
