Based on the overall retrospect of the monetary policies implemented by the central bank and the performance of the financial market in the first quarter of 2002, this paper summarizes and analyzes the hot issues arising from the current financial performance and puts forward rational suggestions for the central bank to adjust macroeconomy and finance.
