智能交通系统是将信息和控制技术应用于交通系统中 ,以提高其运行效率 .在简述智能交通系统的引入和定义的基础上 ,介绍了智能交通系统的发展过程 。
Intelligent Transportation System(ITS) are transportation systems that apply information and control technologies to help their operations. The paper will begin with an explanation of what is ITS. The development progress of ITS around the world and the future direction of ITS applications around the world will then be summarized.
