对英国“阅读是基础”运动的考察

Observation on RIF Movement in the UK

旨在为穷困儿童提供可阅读图书的“阅读是基础”运动发源于美国 ,1 996年在英国登陆。现已成为限定工作对象的英国最大的图书服务运动。英国的许多图书馆和中小学参与其中 ,为图书馆服务和社会教育 ,拓展了新的广阔空间。本文探索了这一运动得以成功的经验以供我国图书馆界 。

Reading Is Fundamental'movement originated from the USA that offers opportunity of reading to children who don't have a sufficient access to books and is a biggest movement after its successful landing in the UK in 1996.Many libraries and schools have involved in it so that they have expanded space in their social service.This article analysed experience of the successful movement as a reference for the circles of library,education and charities in China.
