The Free Electronic Journals (The Free E\|journals) are important information resources on Internet.In the paper,The concept,connotation and types of the Free E\|journal are presented.The situation,predominance and problems of the Free E\|journals in China nowadays are analyzed and explained.The methods of subscribing the Free E\|journals are considered.According to the future and tendency of the Free E\|journal,the authors indicate that the Free E\|journal is a special form of communication and will be the main trend of Internet\|based publication.
