Through brief introduction of the operating features and practice of venture investment of Shanxi Sci-tech Funds Development Company ( SSFDC), this paper analyses on the particularity of venture investment and the significance of venture investment for sci-tech innovation and transformation of sci-tech achievements and, connecting with the spirit of the standing committee of Shanxi provincial committee of CPC, puts forward some concrete imagines of constructing venture investment capital system in Shanxi Province.
