厦门岛东南海滩自由生活海洋线虫一新种

One new species of free-living marine nematodes from southeastern beach of Xiamen Island

本文报道厦门岛东南海滩自由生活海洋线虫单宫线虫目希阿利线虫科新种———厦门吻腔线虫 (Rhynchonemaxiamenensissp .nov .) 。

One new species belonging to the genera Rhynchonema of the family Xylidae is described from southeastern beach of Xiamen Island in Fujian. Rhynchonema xiamenensis sp. nov. resembles R.ornatum , but differs from it in feagures of the position and size of the amphids,in feagures of the appearance of gubernaculum and annulated cuticle of vulva region. There are some special characters: male's amphid is behind buccal cavity.The appearance of gubernaculum is unique.The cuticle of vulva region is annulated.There is no covering structure on the vulva.L ♀494～518,♂432～493;M ♀18.4～24,♂14.4～17.6;a ♀22～27,♂26～30;b ♀3.2～3.7,♂3.3～4.0;c ♀7.3～8.2,♂6.7～7.3;c′♀3.9～4.3,♂3.7～4.6;v 69.3～73.3.The length of spicule is 19.2.The type specimens are deposited in Parasitology Research Laboratory, Xiamen University .All measurements are given in micrometer unless otherwise stated .
