摘要
用摩擦磨损试验和腐蚀磨损试验研究了超高分子量聚乙烯塑料的分子量、磨损时间、滑动速度、载荷、填料等对其摩擦磨损性能的影响 ,并对超高分子量聚乙烯工程塑料的摩擦磨损特性进行系统分析 。
Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW PE) is a kind of engineering plastic with many outstanding physical and mechanical performances. It may substitute for metal materials and widely applied in mechanical fields of centrifugal pump, bearing and so on. The effects of molecular weight, time, rate, load and stuffing on the friction and wear characteristics of UHMW PE were studied by a MPV200 model of friction and wear tester and a caustic wear tester. At the same time, the worn surface was observed by a scanning electron microscope. The wear mechanism and characteristic of the UHMW PE engineering plastic were systemically analyzed. The results reveal that the wear mechanism of the UHMW PE plastic alloy was furrow and rupturing of subsurface stratum. The results from this paper are of important value for optimization of structure and property of materials.
