书籍装帧设计实际上就是书的包装设计 ,也就是塑造书的“体”和“貌”。它集封面艺术、字体艺术、版面艺术、插图艺术、材料艺术和印刷装订艺术为一体。

Binding and layout of a book actually is the design of the package of a book in deed, that is, to model the 'body' and 'face' of a book. It is made up of the art of cover, art of styles, art of layout, art of illustration, art of material, and art of printing and binding.
