Study on the Reform of Public Enterprise in the Last Years of the Qing Dynasty

清末公有企业改革模式有二 :“上海模式”和“武汉模式”。前者是不改变产权关系而通过市场化经营实现企业的革新 ,后者是通过公司化改造实现企业产权的重新安排或经营权与所有权的分离。这场改革具有深刻的国际国内背景 。

There were two kinds of reform models of public enterprise in the last years of the Qing Dynasty: 'Shanghai' s Model' and 'Wuhan's model'. The former took on enterprise innovation by marketing without property right changes. The latter made re-arrangements of property rights of enterprises by the company system. We can draw much good historical experience from this reform.
