新的世纪、新的形势给高校党的建设带来了新的挑战。把“三个代表”的思想落实到高校党建工作中去,是办好社会主义大学的重要保障。深刻领会“三个代表”的思想实质是实践的前提。围绕教学科研中心,加快科技创新和科技产业化步伐以为经济建设服务,建设、坚守马克思主义的坚强阵地和有中国特色社会主义文化的前沿窗口,培养数以万计的高素质的创新人才,是实践“三个代表”的具体体现。加强党的“三风”建设则是实践“三个代表”的根本途径。

The New century and situation bring the new challenge to the Party construction of the college. How to imple-ment the ideas of 'Three Representatives' is the assurance of running well the socialist college, and it is the basis of practice to grasp the essence of it. We must center on the teaching and research in order to speed up the development of scientific technical innovation and production, serve culture with Chinese characteristics, train millions of qualified creative persons which are the best illustrations of 'Three Representatives' and the best way of carrying out it is to strengthen the construction of 'Three Morals' of the Party.
