日本大安株式会社将两个在日本的万历本《金瓶梅词话》取长补短,合为一本。香港梦梅馆总编辑梅节先生为了使《金》书成为普及性读物,对大安本进行了校改,加了注释,出版了重校本《金瓶梅词话》。这是一个很好的普及本。但在校、注两个方面,仍有若干不足之处。

The Japanese DaAnZhuShi press put the two editions of JinPingMei CiHua, which was written from 1592to 1617in China,into one book to adoantage.In order to make the book widely read,Mr.Mei Jie, general editor of HongKong Meng-Mei Press,took responsibility for revising and making notes before it was published.Compared with other photo-offset copies of JinPing Meicihua this reuision is regarded as the best one for ordinary readers except for some mistakes of revision and notes.
