The best method of range restoration in the border of crop and range regions in north China was determined through expiration. The results showed that different range restorations had different effects on the pasture. The reseeding method suited Russian wildrye pasture, which degraded heavily. Fertilization, harrowing and harrowing combined with fertilization were fitted with the pasture degraded lightly.
