The Space Shuttle Main Engine(SSME) represents the state of the art in rocket engine health monitoring.Recently many investigations are underway which are atttempting to provide improvements for the rocket engine health monitoring systems.These investigations have been mainly focused on the SSME and show a new development in the liquid propulsion system.
