摘要 概括了模具和模型制造业产品几何形状越来越复杂、制造精度日益提高和交货期不断缩短的发展趋势。指出高速切削加工切削速度和进给速度高 ,能够降低切削力、工件发热温升和发生切削自激振动的可能性 ,不仅直接提高切削效率 ,缩短加工时间及降低加工成本 ,而且有利于提高加工精度和表面质量 ,可以经济地应用到模具和模型制造中 ,包括加工各种钢模、电火花加工必需的铜或石墨电极、简易模具以及各种铸型和模型。 The trend of more and more complicated geometrical form, increased manufacturing accuracy and shortened delivery time for products in die and mould manufacturing was summarized. It was indicated that the high cutting speed and high feed rate during High Speed Cutting (HSC) lead to reducing the cutting force, the thermal load and temperature rising on workpiece as well as the arising of self excited cutting vibrations. Therefor, HSC is very useful not only to increase cutting efficiency, shorten machining time and reduce costs, but also to improve machining accuracy and surface quality. It can be economically used for machining various die and mould, for example steel iron dies, copper and graphite electrode needed in electric spark working, simplified dies such as made of low melting point alloy, moulds and models. The guideline and strategy to high speed milling the free form surface on die and mould as well as the different implementing of rough working and finishing according to workpiece material were discussed.
