Aiming at the question of how to reduce house power consumption of thermal power plants, the paper suggests that the requirements of the technological media, asked for by the principal machineries, the rational technological flow and control of the technology as well as the option of reliable auxiliary equipment, motors and starting equipment should all be considered during the engineering design stage.
