记协可以设立律师事务所吗?

Can a Journalists' Association Run a Law Office?

记协内部设立律师事务所不符合《律师法》规定的条件。新闻侵权律师事务不是一门独立的法律服务业务。在记协内设立律师事务所未必会有充足的案源。所以在记协内设立律师事务所是不切实际的。

According to the Lawyer Law, running a law office, for a journalists' association, is not fully allowed. Ajournalists' association cannot run a separate law office to deal with the tort affairs concarning the news area, for, mostprobably, there are no enough cases. Therefore, it is unpractical for a journalists' association to run a law office.
