The paper introduced the experience of the patient posture during the neurosurgical operation. The posture data of 1850 cases selective operation in our hospital in last two years have been collected, including supine position (50%) , lateral position (22%) , semiprone position (23%) and prone position (5%). The paper introduced the posture methods, indicated operation and matters needing attention. Management of patient posture is one of the crucial factors of success or failure in an operation.
