摘要
采用Hungate厌氧技术,从处理柠檬酸生产废水的管道消化器中分离到产氢产乙酸的硬脂酸降解菌与产甲烷球菌的共培养物(LDB1-M1),LDB1菌株为专性厌氧,呈弧状,不产芽孢,革兰氏反应阴性。该共培养物能降解C4—C20直链脂肪酸,但必须加一定量的CaCl2。经初步研究认为LDB1菌株可能是互营单胞菌属的一个新种。
An anaerobic obligately syntrophic fatty acid degrading acetogenic bacterium (strain LDB1) was isolated with a non-fatty aciddegrading, H_2-utilizing Methanococcus sp. This organism is a slightly curved Gramnegative rod which can only use protons as electron acceptor. It fermented all linear saturated fatty acid with 4 to 20 carbon atoms in coculture with a H_2-utilizing methanogen. During growth on long-chain fatty acid supplementation of the culture media with calcium chloride is an absolute requirement. The strain LDB1 is possibly a new species of Syntrophomonas because of its broaden substrate range.
