The application o f Profibus-DP fieldbus technology in slu ice gate control system of hydropower st ation is introduced in detail.In this sy stem the position of the sluice gate is measured by a rotating encoder which pro vides a fieldbus interface.It is the sla ve station of Profibus-DP system,while P LCS7-300 with communication processor CP -342-5 is the master station.The impleme ntation of communication between master station and slave station is described c oncretely.The communication program is l isted as example.
