Effect of Apparatus Scale on Mass Loss Rate of Combustible Materials

摘要 文章分别利用锥型量热计和火灾早期特性实验台对柞木的失重速率进行了实验测量。研究结果表明 :尺度效应的作用非常明显。相同辐射能量条件下 ,相比于火灾早期特性试验台实验 ,锥型量热计实验中试样容易着火 ,而且过程中火焰稳定 。 Experimental measurements have been done for mass loss rate of wood using cone calorimeter and radiation platform for studying fire performance of materials at early stage, respectively. The experiments have indicated that apparatus scale affect the mass loss rate obviously. The sample in cone calorimeter can be ignited easily with stable and long time continuous flame compared with radiation platform under the same heat flux.
