The Creation of Land- scape Space the Plan for the Entrance Area of Xianhuashan Scenic Spot

通过阐述仙华山风景区入口区改造设计的规划策略及实践过程，说明景观空间序列的格局创造、运用地方传统的用材及细 部处理，在风景区设计中的重要性。

With the Xianhuashan scenic spot in mind, the landscape planner has designed an open space (an octagonal area) to attract visitors to the scenic spot. The plan also in- cludes the access from the entrance to the central octagonal area and the temple heyond, via the mesa. ln order that the locality and tradition of the area are fully displayed, the planner uses varying details, such as siltstones and ancient painting symbols. All these help to create an interesting landscape space.
