摘要
本文以南开大学 1998- 2 0 0 0年归国人员作为调查对象 ,以美国传播学家 Brenda Dervin的信息理论为理论框架 ,采用问卷调查和访谈调查相结合的方法 ,对归国人员的信息需求特点及其满足状况进行了调查 。
From the perspective of Brenda Dervin's sensemaking theory,this study investigates the information needs of staff at Nankai University,who had undertaken a period of study or academic visit abroad and returned to Nankai during the period 19982000.A questionnaire survey of all related staff and an interview survey of a selected sample were conducted to collect data regarding the information needs of this particular group.The pattern of these information needs and the way in which academic staff make sense of their working environment upon their return were examined.Recommendations to library services were made.
