INFLUENCE OF GAIN SATURATION ON THE DETECTED MODE SPECTRA OF DISTRIBUTED AND HELICAL FEEDBACK GAS LASERS
摘要
非线性增益饱和使分布反馈(DFB)和螺旋反馈(HFB)气体激光器的纵模最大峰值强度远离阻带.该阻带是由波导的折射率周期调制或截面周期调制引起的.我们用光泵DFB和HFB496μm CH_3F远红外激光器首次从实验上证实了理论预言的这种现象.
Nonlinear gain saturation shifts the peak intensity of longitudinal modes of distributed feedback (DFB) and helical feedback (HFB) gas lasers away from the stopband which ooonrs for periodic index of oross-section modulation. First evidence of this phenomenon predicted by theory is given by the authors' experiments with optically pumped DFB and HFB 496μm CH_3F lasers.
