摘要
用锥形量热仪 (CONE)研究Cu2 O/MoO3 体系对PVC的阻燃和抑烟协同效应可以同时获得气相和凝聚相的综合信息。实验结果表明 :Cu2 O/MoO3 对PVC的总热释放量 (THR) ,表现出了一定的协同阻燃作用。其原因是Cu2 O/MoO3 改变了PVC的热降解途径 ,协同降低了PVC炭骨架的热裂解速度 ,增加了残余炭的生成量。综合分析可知 ,Cu2 O/MoO3 对PVC的阻燃协同作用主要表现在凝聚相中 。
The comprehensive information in both gas phase and condensed phase can be acquired by using cone calorimeter which was used to investigate the synergistic effect of Cu 2O and MoO 3 on flame retardance and smoke suppression of poly(vinyl chloride)(PVC) in this paper.Based upon parameters taken from cone calorimeter,Cu 2O and MoO 3 combination (Cu 2O/MoO 3) showed the good synergism in reducing smoke of PVC by decreasing peak smoke production rate(pk-SPR),total smoke production(TSP) and average specific extinction area(av-SEA) obviously,and retarding flame of PVC by decreasing THR.However,Cu 2O/MoO 3 made average effective heat of combustion(av-EHC) of PVC increase synergisticly.These results of flame retardance and smoke suppression mentioned above were attributed to the changing pattern of thermal degradation.Cu 2O/MoO 3 showed the good synergism in reducing mass loss rate(MLR) of carbon backbone of PVC and increasing char residue.According to a comprehensive analysis,it has been proved that synergistic effects of flame retardance and smoke suppression indicated in condensed phase and both gas phase and condensed phase,respectively.
