It has become a prevalent method in the world that the drilling rigs are inspected by the third party in order to confirm whether they satisfy the requirements of acceptance. Inspection of the in service drilling rigs is an important content and the basis of the third party inspection.This article disserts the importance of the inspection of the in-service drilling rigs, and points out the inspection bases, methods and contents.
