Narrated the deactivation mechanism of the resin catalyst of catalytic light gasoline etherification. Pointed out that the etherification feed treatment of selective hydrogenation and water washing should be carried out to keep the catalyst at high activity and long life cycle. Stressed discussed the issues existed in the operation of catalytic distillation of etherification,such as the feeding and control of dimerization,the methanol to olefins ratio and its effect on etherification.
