American Society and Life during the Depression

20世纪 3 0年代初 ,美国人民生活在极其恶劣的状况中 ,他们的行为和思想对当时政府的某些政策都有着重要的影响。同时 ,美国政府通过各种政策的实施 ,又影响着人民的生活及人们的部分观念 ,从而缓和了阶级矛盾 ,降低了经济危机的损失。也正是这种双向互动作用 ,使美国在向现代社会的变迁中 ,不仅坚持了资本主义发展的道路 ,而且扩大了其生存空间 ,为今后美国的现代化发展 ,从多方面进行了一次重组。本文主要从当时美国人民 (包括工人、农民、部分中产阶级等 )的生活状况及方式等方面入手 ,逐步分析 ,揭示政府与人民之间的互动关系及对美国现代化的影响。

In this article,the author mainly analysed the people's material and culture life in the United States during the Great Depression Age.And researched the relations between the government and the people,according to the social background.psyche etc.,and explored the people's effection on the development of the American society.
