介绍了自 2 0世纪 5 0年代以来卷烟烟气pH不同测定方法的发展 ,其大体可以分为两种 :一种是测定总的主流烟气的pH ,另一种是仅仅测定粒相物的pH作为卷烟烟气pH。测定总的主流烟气pH的方法是将主流烟气用水溶液吸收后测量pH或将pH电极插入主流烟气通道直接测定。而测定粒相物的pH则是将主流烟气用剑桥滤片或静电除尘装置收集 ,再用水溶液萃取后测定。此外还介绍了烟叶和烟气中游离烟碱含量的测定 ,并讨论了卷烟烟气pH、游离烟碱含量。
The development of methods for determining the pH of cigarette smoke since 1950's are reviewed. They fall into two groups. One determines the pH of whole mainstream cigarette smoke, and the other takes the pH of particulate matter only. The methods for whole cigarette smoke may involve either determining the pH of the aqueous solution of mainstream smoke, or measuring by direct insertion of a pH electrode into the smoke. The procedures for determining the pH of particulate matter are as follows. The particulate may be collected on a Cambridge pad or by electrostatic precipitation, then impregnated in water and determined the pH of the aqueous solution. In addition, the various methods for determining the amount of free nicotine are summarized. The relationships among smoke pH, free nicotine and impact of cigarette smoke are also discussed.
