The principle and design method of robust fault detector of linear system are studied systematically in this paper.The necessary number of the fault detector which can decrease the dimension of robust fault detector is confirmed.A design project of the robust fault detector based on observer of linear system is put forward.The obtained results are used to fault diagnose of double loops DC speed regulating system.The experimental results show that our method is valid.2figs.,6refs.
