The technology of producing medium and thick plates is complex and unique.The development of the midium and thick plate's computer control system is neccessary.Based on the experiences of the computer control system's development in thick plate factory of Anshan Iron and Steel Company,this paper has mainly introduced the funtion and some key links of the system design and the system program design of the track subsystem of the medium and thick steel plates computer control system.
