The Deepening of CPC's Understanding of Socialism since the Founding of PRC

建设社会主义必先认识社会主义。认识社会主义既不会一蹴而就 ,也不能一劳永逸。建国 5 0多年以来 ,中国共产党对社会主义的认识经历了一个由浅入深、由表及里、由片面到比较全面的过程 ,期间还伴随着曲折与坎坷。实践证明 ,只有正确认识什么是社会主义 。

We must understand socialism before we build it, but the understanding of socialism can't be achieved once and for all. In the past fifty years since the founding of PRC, CPC has expenrenced all kinds of frustration in the understanding process, which is from the simple to the complex, the surface to the centre, and one-sided way to all-round way. Great practice has proved that only through the thorough understanding of socialism, can we build socialism with Chinese characteristics to a higher level.
