从语调构成的六要素入手 ,讨论语调语用作用的三个主要表现 :一是表态作用 ,即应用语调来表达说话者的情感和态度 ;二是强调作用 ,即运用语调来标志语调组的信息中心 ;三是交际作用 ,即运用语调来吸引听者注意力 ,规范交谈行为 。

This article mainly discusses the attitudinal function , the accentual function and the communicative function ofEnglish intonation on the basis of its six basic components .
