健康需求是人类的基本需求 ,人类对健康这一理想生存状态的需求是无限的 ;而在保护和促进健康的过程中 ,医学的责任则是有限的。这主要是由医学自身的特点和能力所决定。对于医学责任的模糊认识是“医学万能论”和“医学异化现象”产生的思想根源 ,也是医患关系紧张的重要原因。因此 ,正确认识医学对健康责任的有限性对于正确评价医学的作用、准确把握医学发展方向、更好地满足人类的健康需求 ,有着重要的现实意义。

The need for health,which is one of the basic needs of human beings and an ideal status of existence,is limitless.However,medicine is limited in its responsibilities to protect and promote human health,which results from the characteristics and capabilities of medcine itself.The unclear knowledge of medical responsibilities is the source of the ideas of 'the all-powerful medicine' and 'alienation of medicine',as well as important reason for the tense relationship between doctor and patient.Therefore,an awareness of the limited responsibilities to health is of great realistic significance to evaluate the role of medicine properly,to catch hold of the medical development promptly,and to better satisfy the human need for health.
