摘要
数据同步技术是移动数据库系统中消除移动客户机与数据库服务器之间数据不一致和冲突的主要方法.给出了小金灵移动数据库系统Lite/2中所采用的基于数据同步对象的事务性数据同步方法,它能够保持数据的语义一致性.此外,Lite/2将同步失败恢复和队列技术相结合来优化事务性同步过程的总通信代价.实验结果表明。
Data synchronization is one of the most important methods to conciliate conflicts and maintain the data consistency between mobile clients and servers in mobile database systems. The novel concept of data synchronization object is used in Lite/2, a prototype of the mobile database system, to define a transactional synchronization method and is able to maintain the semantic integrity. Synchronization recovery is an important technique combined with the queue mechanism in Lite/2 to optimize the communication costs. The experimental results show that the Lite/2 has good performance in both synchronization and communication.
