明确地指出在今日和明日的社会经济发展中 ,中国矿业的基础地位仍不可动摇 ,但传统矿业面临着衰退和传统矿业经济格局存在着问题。在阐述 2 1世纪中国矿业经济面临的窘境 ,传统矿业经济在体制转型、经济全球化大背景下的嬗变基础上 。

It is no doubt that today and tomorrow Chinas mining industry keeps playing the role of a pillar for development of social economy.However,the traditional mining industry is now facing the decline because there are a series of problems in its economic structure.On the basis of discussions about difficulties Chinas mining industry is facing in the 21st century,and about necessity of reform of Chinas traditional mining industrys system against the background of worlds economy globalization,the correct way of developing new type mining industry in China and the guarantee measures in respect of economic system and political strategy are described.
