语言是文化的组成部份,是文化的载体．熟语作为语言的一种特定形式,承载着丰富的文化内涵,忠实地反映着民族文化的特色以及人类文化的交汇点．本文通过对英汉熟语中文化现象的具体分析,提出了中西文化差异性和共同性的层因和表象．

Language both integrates and conveys culture. As a special kind of language forms, idioms, endowed with rich cultural connotation, always reflect and shape the specialties of one group's culture and also the joints of different cultures. Basing on the case analysis of the cultural phenomena of Chinese and English idioms, this article presents the causes and ideas of culture's differences and similarities.
