Introduction on simple situation of national laboratory accreditation, including establishment and endowment of the body and the basis of implementing national laboratory accreditation was presented. The paper expounded the feasibility of implementing ISO standard in environmental monitoring work and the necessity of implememting national laboratory accreditation, and also presented some practical operating processes. Finally, illustration on the role of environmental monitoring station in implement the national laboratory accreditation was discussed.
