本文回顾了2001年泰国宏观经济表现,着重分析出口、内需及对外收支状况的特点,指出经济增长模式、结构改革滞后以及全要素生产率增长缓慢是造成泰国经济脆弱性的根本原因并,进一步讨论了一年来泰国新政府面对经济滑坡的政策走向。
This paper reviews Thai macroeconomic performance in 2001, focusing on the characteristics of domestic demand and balance of payments, and argues that the growth pattern, sluggish structural reform and slow growth of overall factor productivity account for the vulnerability of Thai economy. It then proceeds to expound the policy trend of Thai government toward economic slowdown.
